Abortion

Before you read these, keep this in mind: The real debate about abortion has nothing to do with government attempting to regulate a woman’s body. Pro-Choicers argue that if a baby is in a woman’s body, it is her “property,” and she can do as she wishes with it. This was the same excuse used for keeping slaves. Eventually we agreed that a human being cannot be property. This is the real issue. It is about deciding at what point a person qualifies as a human being with the same rights as everyone else in this country (including criminals, illegal aliens, and even terrorists). One of the most important responsibilities of the government is to determine who exactly is covered by the Bill of Rights. This is not a religious issue, it is a Civil Rights issue.
